Tailgating Frequently Asked Questions

No, your “T” parking pass and wristbands are valid on Saturday only. If you would like to attend the event on Friday or Sunday, purchase a spectator ticket or become a sponsor, which includes a parking pass and entry into the event.

One vehicle is allowed to park at each spot. Tailgate parking pass holders enter the park using Gate B and proceed to the designated Tailgate checkpoint. Passenger vehicles only.  No buses, campers, RVs, or other over-sized vehicles are permitted due to low-hanging limbs on the entrance road.

Your friends will park at Gate A Spectator parking.  When they arrive at the Welcome Tent they will show their wristbands to enter the event.  From there, the path to the Tailgate area is well marked and you won’t be hard to find.

All spectators with a wristband are welcome in the Tailgate area. Vehicles displaying the “T” parking pass are the only vehicles permitted.

No, you are free to leave the area and roam the park.  Enjoy the Avenue of Shops and local food trucks. For your safety and that of the riders and horses, please remain in spectator-designated areas only.

No, a tent will be provided with each assigned tailgate spot. No personal tents are allowed.

Rules for Tailgating at Red Hills

Tailgate wrist bands and parking passes are valid on Saturday only.

Passenger vehicles only. No buses, campers, RVs, or other over-sized vehicles are permitted.

No additional motorized vehicles allowed. This includes golf carts, ATVs, scooters or motorcycles.

The gate opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday. For your and our athletes’ safety, please arrive at this time for set-up. Cross-country competition beings at 8 a.m. Early set up on Friday afternoon can be arranged by contacting us in advance.

No generators, blenders or other noisy equipment permitted.

No grills or open flame.

No more than 6 wrist bands per tailgate (Children under 12 are free and do not need a wrist band).

Alcohol is permitted in the designated tailgate area only. Do not take alcohol into other areas of the park.

Know the rules that apply to your selected tailgate option including arrival window, set up, tent types, and departure times.
